Born in California, raised in Texas, and now based at the NJ Shore for 15 years, Jonathan Tea is a soulful singer-songwriter making music that blends his diverse influences into his own brand of Americana. Taking the best parts of rock, country, and Texas blues, Jonathan’s songwriting captures the depth of human emotion through personal storytelling.

His 2015 debut album, Coming Home, received airplay on over 150 radio stations across North America and was followed by a successful tour from New York to Texas and back, including shows in Austin, Dallas, Memphis, & Nashville. Jonathan released his latest album, Big & Bright & Restless in September 2025 and is writing material for his next album while continuing to play shows locally and regionally.
